TAKE ACTION on Pro-Abortion Bill: Senate Votes Monday

Contact your Senators right now. This will take you 5 minutes

The headings below allow you to skim your way down to the suggested email text and link to send your email.

Senate Vote Expected Monday

Two sources say the Senate will vote on S.1975 The Women’s Health Protection Act next week. One of them says as early as Monday.

This bill has already passed in the House. If it passes the Senate next week, it becomes law.

New Law Would Render Supreme Court Decision Moot & Protect Abortion Businesses

The Women’s Health Protection Act will make abortion legal in all 50 states without restriction. Then it won’t matter how the Supreme Court rules on the Dobbs case. It won’t matter what state laws Mississippi or Texas have in place. It won’t matter that Virginia’s newly elected Governor is working to restrict legal abortion in his state.

Not only does the Women’s Health Protection not protect women, but it explicitly does protect abortion businesses. The bill started in the House of Representative’s Commerce Committee. The text includes a whole section protecting abortion businesses.

Everyone but Especially those in WV, AK, and ME

If you or someone you know lives in West Virginia, Alaska, or Maine, it’s especially important that they send this email to their Senators because these three are more likely to be iffy votes:

  • West Virginia Joe Manchin
  • Alaska Lisa Murkowski
  • Maine Susan Collins

Forward this blog post to your pro-life friends and relatives in WV, AK, and ME.

Change the Email Text

The link below provides an easy way to email your Senator. HOWEVER, I want you to change the text completely.

The text in every pre-filled form I’ve found includes information the Senators already know. Instead, tell them what they are really voting for (see below). I chose this particular form because you can change the text.

  1. Change the subject to:

    S.1975 / H.R.3755
  2. Change the body to:

I urge you to vote “NO” on the so-called Women’s Health Protection Act. Know that this bill does NOT protect women, but it does protect ABORTION BUSINESSES, PIMPS/SEX TRAFFICKING, and DEAD-BEAT DADS. If you vote for this bill, then you side with people who profit off of women’s bodies. How is that an act of protection?
  3. If you’re post-abortive, add that if you feel safe doing so—both men and women. You have a powerful voice! Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise. I started by saying, “As a post-abortive woman, I urge you to vote ‘NO'”…

Healed Women Don’t Shout Their Abortions

Dear Christian Sisters and Brothers,

Monday night, Live Action News published my story written by Tori Shaw of Not Forgotten Ministries. On Facebook, one distraught post-abortive woman commented. It’s been 45 years since her abortion!

I’ve reached out to her, and I pray she accepts help in finding complete healing.

Why should you care that post-abortive women get healed? I mean, don’t we deserve our consequences?

Healed women don't shout their abortions. blog.mybodymyworship.com

Remember these truths:

  • Healed women don’t shout their abortions.
  • Healed women don’t have a second (or third or fourth) abortion.
  • Healed women soften their hearts to accept Christ, who came for the whole world.

Post-abortion healing is available through local pregnancy resource centers (U.S. and International) and through online healing programs like She Found His Grace.

Share the love of Christ with all your friends, family, and foes who have an abortion story.

In Christ,

The Last March for Life

Or at least the last January national March for Life.

I’m calling it. After 49 years, I believe the Supreme Court will return abortion rights to the states in 2022.

Every January near the anniversary of Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton (which were decided January 22, 1973), the March for Life has gathered women and men in Washington, DC to protest the disregard for pre-born life.

And slowly, the March—and the nation—recognized the devastation of abortion on women, men, and families.

But this year is the end of nationwide abortion rights. That means no more reason to march every January in Washington, DC.

Or is it?

With HR 3755 / SR 1975 “The Women’s Health Protection Act” passed by the House and waiting for Senate vote,

with the FDA approval of the abortion pill delivered by mail without medical consultation, and

with Robert Califf awaiting confirmation as FDA Commissioner,

we could end 2022 with abortion without limits in all 50 states.

If nationwide abortion rights are passed by other means, then it won’t matter what the Supreme Court rules on the Dobbs case, and we’ll still need to march.

But you can end the need to march. Take note as to whether your Senators are sponsoring SR 1975 then call them. If they sponsor the bill, then simply leave a kind but firm message that you are against SR 1975 and against the confirmation of Robert Califf.

If your Senators are not sponsoring the bill, then give them information to help them fight for women and children:

  • Post-abortive women start pro-life ministries because they don’t want other women to experience the trauma of abortion:
    • She Found His Grace
    • Not Forgotten Ministries
    • Julie’s Heart Cry
    • Abortion Survivors Network (just to name a few)
  • Post-abortive women share their trauma so that others can learn from their mistakes:
    • Silent No More
    • Her Choice to Heal
    • She Found His Grace book
    • I Had a Secret for Seventeen Years book
    • Beyond Messy Relationships book
    • Saved, Single and Pregnant book
    • From Crisis to Compassion book
    • Created to Live book
    • Sound of Silence book
    • award-winning ReTested: The Story of a Post-Abortive Woman Called to Change the Conversation book
  • Multiple post-abortion healing curricula exist because women are hurting—even 40 years after their abortion:
    • Surrendering the Secret
    • Forgiven and Set Free
    • Deeper Still
    • Rachel’s Vineyard
  • Men are recognizing their trauma:
    • Fatherhood Aborted book
    • Healing a Father’s Heart
    • Surrendering the Heart of a Father
  • Pro-Women’s Healthcare Certified Clinics help women through their pregnancies to support life of both mother and baby regardless of medical diagnosis
  • Pregnancy resource centers help women and families in crisis and provide post-abortion counseling

This Friday, watch for my live updates from the Washington, DC March for Life on Facebook and YouTube—it’s easy to live stream to both of them at once. On Friday night and Saturday, I’ll re-post the videos on Rumble and provide links here.

Supreme Court vs Proposed Law That Would Legalize Abortion Without Restrictions in Every State – Press Release

For immediate release
December 2, 2021

“If S 1975 passes the Senate, it won’t matter if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v Wade,“ said Cheryl Krichbaum, award-winning author of ReTested: The Story of a Post-Abortive Woman Called to Change the Conversation. “Call your two Senators today to urge them to vote ‘NO!’”

S 1975, the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2021, was passed by the House of Representatives in late September and is now before the Senate while the Supreme Court is ruling on Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization, a case that could overturn Roe v Wade.

While pro-lifers watch the Supreme Court, pro-abortion organizations such as NARAL and Planned Parenthood Action Fund are urging their supporters to contact their Senators in support of the Act.

The Act begins by saying that abortion services are essential to healthcare. “Abortion is not healthcare,” said Kathi A Aultman, MD FACOG and Associate Scholar with Charlotte Lozier Institute. Dr. Aultman is both a former abortionist and a post-abortive woman herself. “When I worked in the ER, we would treat women who had complications after abortion, but my notes were never reported for statistical analysis because the state didn’t require it,” she said. “You can say anything is safe if you don’t keep records.”

“You can say anything is safe if you don’t keep records.”

Dr. Kathi Aultman, former abortionist

The Act goes on to say that abortion services have been deficient in the U.S. for people of color. “That’s never been the case!” Halima B Griffin, MA Public Policy and certified leader of Surrendering the Secret said emphatically. “That’s how Planned Parenthood got started—to control our population. Reproductive justice wants to keep us enslaved. I’m tired of this narrative. We are not victims.”

“Reproductive justice wants to keep us enslaved. I’m tired of this narrative. We are not victims.”

Halima Griffin

“Reproductive justice is a disguise that wants to continue the conversation that Black people are oppressed,” Griffin continued. “Far too many Black people believe we are victims because the system has fed that to us for far too many years. We must start viewing ourselves as victors instead of victims.”

The Act refers to abortion restriction as misogyny, but Krichbaum said, “I see the complete opposite. I see abortion as misogynistic. Many post-abortive women—and even women considering abortion—say their baby daddies coerced them into abortion. There’s nothing more misogynistic than suppressing the very thing that only women’s bodies can do.”

Although Krichbaum, Aultman, and Griffin have all had abortions, they have been healed and now advocate for life, the lives of babies and women.

“Abortion denies women their agency—and denies another human a life.”

Jennifer Milbourn, abortion survivor

“How can abortion be a fundamental right if its victims are never given the opportunity to exercise it themselves?” asked Jennifer Milbourn, survivor of a vacuum aspiration abortion. “Abortion denies women their agency—and denies another human a life. Abortion is not healthcare and shouldn’t be considered a woman’s ‘right.’ Every life has the right to live. As a survivor of an abortion attempt, I do not support the Women’s Health Protection Act.”

“As a post-abortive African American woman, I do not support the Women’s Health Protection Act,” said Griffin.

“As a former abortionist, I do not support the Women’s Health Protection Act,” said Dr. Aultman.

“As a post-abortive woman, I do not support the Women’s Health Protection Act,” said Krichbaum. “When the Supreme Court overturns Roe, you can bet pro-abortion groups will rally support for S 1975.”

“As a post-abortive African American woman, I do not support the Women’s Health Protection Act,” said Griffin.

“As a survivor of an abortion attempt, I do not support the Women’s Health Protection Act,” said Milbourn.

“As a former abortionist, I do not support the Women’s Health Protection Act,” said Dr. Aultman.

“As a post-abortive woman, I do not support the Women’s Health Protection Act,” said Krichbaum.

Dear Senators, Vote “No”: Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA)

Call or write your U.S. Senator today

Dear Senators,

Vote “no” on the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA) because it legalizes abortion. If abortion protected women’s mental, spiritual, or physical health, then the following truths would not exist:

  • Post-abortive women starting and chairing their own pro-life non-profits
  • Post-abortive women working in pregnancy resource centers
  • Post-abortive women publishing books telling their regret stories
  • Silent No More group
  • 5,000 members in abortion REGRET groups on Facebook alone
  • Many post-abortion healing curricula (not just one, not just for Catholics or Christians)
  • Books and presentations from the 1960’s Abortion King, Dr. Bernard Nathanson, about his role in spreading lies about “back-alley abortions,” including the numbers he himself inflated
  • Ambulances at today’s abortion facilities
  • #shoutyourabortionregret

Abortion is not healthcare.

Protect my nieces and granddaughters from the lie of abortion. Just vote no.

P.S. I wish the Senators and Representatives of the 1970s and 1980s had made abortion illegal before I chose the lie in 1987, killing my daughter, who would have been a woman today. Who protected her health?

Dear Christian Sisters & Brothers,

9 pm EASTERN TIME tonight (Monday), I’ll be on YouTube Live to respond to a USA Today article titled, “I’m a Christian minister who’s had 2 abortions. Here’s how faith informed those decisions.

I’m a post-abortive Christian, but I don’t justify my abortion.

Instead, I scoured the Bible to find out what the LORD thinks.

Day 1 Armor of God Prayer

Ephesians 6:10-18, Proverbs 18:10

I praise you that I am strong in You and that I am in the power of Your might. Today, I put on the whole armor that You gave me so that I am able to stand against the schemes, strategies, and deceits of the devil. I take up the whole armor so that I am able to withstand evil, having done all that crisis demands, to stand victorious.

Thank You for girding my waist with truth. I confess my sins to You now so that my breastplate of righteousness is securely in place, protecting all my vital organs. Thank You that my feet are firmly grounded with the gospel of peace.

Thank You for reminding me throughout the day to defend myself by using the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Thank You for my helmet of salvation, which protects my mind. Thank You for the sword of the Spirit, the word of God, my only offensive piece of armor.

Thank You for reminding me to pray and ask in the Spirit throughout the day, staying alert for all of Your people.

Prayer for 40 Days for Life

I stand firm for those who are praying and counseling at abortion facilities around the world. Remind them to put on their armor every day so that they withstand and stand victorious.

I praise You for girding these prayer warriors with the truth. Protect their hearts and minds. Thank you for grounding them in the gospel of peace.

Give each of them strong shields to quench every fiery dart of wickedness. Thank you for equipping them with the sword of the Spirit.

Your name is a strong tower, Lord. The righteous run inside it and are safe. We bring you the 40 Days for Life prayer warriors. Thank You for keeping them safe. Standing firm in Your name we pray,

In Christ,

Best Pro-Life Bible Verse

Dear Christian Sisters & Brothers,

With all that’s in the U.S. news, you may not remember that it is Sanctity of Life Month.

Let’s not forget that January 22 is the 48th anniversary of Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton. And remember that four states and the District of Columbus legalized elective abortion before Roe and Doe.

In an effort to never forget the millions of babies legally murdered, spend some time this weekend to review the best pro-life Bible verses.

More Than Psalm 139

Psalm 139 is the most quoted pro-life Bible verse, but the New Testament has more convincing proof that God values the lives of the pre-born.

If you’re not sure God is pro-life, read the following verses in both the Old Testament and the New Testament.

For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.

(Psalm 139:13-16 NASB)

Upon You I was cast from birth; You have been my God from my mother’s womb.
(Psalm 22:10 NASB)

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you.”
(Jeremiah 1: 5a NASB)

“Didn’t He who made me in the womb make him, and the same One fashion us in the womb?”
(Job 31:15 NASB)

Twins Jacob & Esau

The children (Jacob and Esau) struggled together within her, and she said,  “If so, why is this happening to me?” So she went to inquire of the Lord.
(Genesis 25:22 ESV)

In the womb he (Jacob) took his brother by the heel.
(Hosea 12: 3a NASB).

And not only this, but there was Rebekah also, when she had conceived twins by one man, our father Isaac; for though the twins (Jacob and Esau) were not yet born and had not done anything good or bad, so that God’s purpose according to His choice would stand, not because of works but because of Him who calls.
(Romans 9:10-11 NASB)

And he told her all his heart, and said to her, “A razor has never come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If my head is shaved, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man.”
(Judges 16:17 ESV)

Listen to Me, O islands,
And pay attention, you peoples from afar.
The Lord called Me from the womb;
From the body of My mother He named Me.

(Isaiah 49: 1 NASB)

And now says the Lord, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, to bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel might be gathered to Him for I am honored in the sight of the Lord, and My God is My strength.
(Isaiah 49: 5 NASB)

But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, was pleased…
(Galatians 1:15 NASB)

All People

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
(Psalm 127:3 ESV)

What may be more convincing is this verse about God knowing all the people of Israel before they were born:

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, “I, the Lord, am the maker of all things, stretching out the heavens by Myself and spreading out the earth all alone.
(Isaiah 44:24 NASB)

Best Pro-Life Bible Verses

The best pro-life Bible verses are in the New Testament. These verses require a little knowledge of Greek, but fortunately we can look up Greek meanings using the Blue Letter Bible website.

The New Testament was written in Greek. The Greek word  brephos  is used to refer to both a pre-born baby (Luke 1:41, 44) and children (Luke 18: 15-17). Luke was a doctor.

When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby (brephos) leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
(Luke 1:41, 44 ESV)

And they were even bringing their babies (brephos) to Him so He would touch them, but when the disciples saw it, they started rebuking them. But Jesus called for them, saying, “Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.”
(Luke 18: 15-17 NASB)

You’ll find these verses and more resources at MybodyMyworship.com.

In Christ,
